17. How often should I water?
When it’s dry. They like it high and dry. A deep watering once a week is plenty.

Sandy, composted soil with great drainage—no peat moss.

Usually 7–14 days in warm soil. Moringa loves heat. In night temps over 67 degrees F.

manageable and can harvest the greens.
23. How often should I trim my tree?
Every few weeks during the growing season to keep it short and leafy. Possibly 1-2 times over
winter.
24. Can I grow it as a bonsai or patio plant?

If in-ground, in a frosty zone, the stem may die back, but could regrow new stems from

33. Can I use a dehydrator?
Yes, but space fills fast. A dry room is more efficient for volume.
34. How do I make Moringa powder?
Once leaves are crispy dry, sift and grind into a fine powder. Sift out any small
branches.
35. How do I make tea?
Dry whole leaves or small pieces—steep 1–2 tsp per cup in hot water.
36. Can I harvest seeds for oil?
Yes, the most valuable part of the tree are the seeds with oil. once drumsticks dry
brown on the tree, collect and press them for oil.
